This is a great time of the year to be out on the Puget Sound…crisp air, spectacular fall colors, and few (if any) other anglers. Fishing for Sea Run Cutthroat has been very consistent for us recently, with fish being found on more beaches than not. As we move deeper into fall and the fish adjust to the colder temperatures, experiment with fishing different water depths. Yesterday we tied on surface flies, unweighted streamers, and heavy dumbell eye patterns. We found the most success fishing the middle water column with unweighted baitfish imitations, including the healthy SRC above.
